At Hemmels, our mission is to preserve classic cars and the iconic stories they tell. We chronicle the history of our Mercedes-Benz models and carve our own place in the narrative as their modern-day stewards. So that you can continue the story for another generation.
Our engineers and experts work on a select number of cars every year to make sure they can give every vehicle and owner the individual care they deserve. Stripped back to the bones. Every nut and bolt painstakingly restored. Every instrument recalibrated. From chrome engines to lacquered chassis, you can expect your new classic to be as breathtaking on the inside as it is on the outside.
From the 300 SL, 190 SL and W113 Pagoda series, through to the W108, W11 and W112 coupes and cabriolets. And whether we find your car for you or you bring it to us, each Hemmels creation is restored to the same strict specifications of the Neugeboren Process.
Our expert team carefully disassemble the original car, tagging and storing key components and assessing the work required to deliver a world class restoration.
Every single panel is repaired and replaced as necessary until the final product looks ready to be presented at the most prestigious showroom.
Our unique process can take up to 12 months.
In the original German, neugeboren means newborn. At Hemmels, the word signifies the rebirth of our classic cars. Built like new.Â
