March 2019: Braced & True

With a car that has enjoyed a life of more than half a century the first order of business is to ensure that the shell is true and braced before commencing any restoration work. This is a procedure that takes days to finalise as measurements are taken and adjustments made as the metal settles into a position of rest.

It's imperative that the car is then braced to ensure all of the gaps and lines are millimeter-perfect. The attention to detail at this stage is crucial to ensure the final creation is flawless.
